Actors Scholarship 2018
The Lindis Krejus Actors Scholarship was born out of the desire
to give a Victorian actor the chance to further their career by receiving up to a $20,000 scholarship.
Named in honour of Lindis Krejus, this scholarship is a tribute
to a woman who believed anything was possible, If you believed, took action and never gave up.
The objective of the actor’s scholarship is to further develop the talents of gifted and experienced Australian actors residing in Victoria. The successful applicant will undergo training in the craft of acting with institutions, individuals or entities located in Australia or overseas with the objective of making a significant contribution to the Australian Film, Television and Theatre Industry.

An annual scholarship of up to $20,000 will be awarded to
an actor to study and train at institutions, or with individuals
and entities located anywhere in the world.
The scholarship funds will be used to cover flights, accommodation and training expenses.
It is open to Victorian-based actors only, who are either Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
The selection process is based on merit and experience.
Applicants who are shortlisted will be asked to meet with
the selection committee and may be required to present
a three-minute monologue.
A minimum of two letters of recommendation from industry professionals should be included as part of your application.
The successful applicant will be required to share
their experience and provide ongoing feedback to the
16th Street Foundation and the broader acting community about their experience and training.
